Brian Callaci received his PhD in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2019. He is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Data & Society Research Institute. His research focuses on the changing legal and economic boundaries of the firm under vertical dis-integration structures such as franchising, and the implications for labor and antitrust law. and policy.
