For entering and continuing undergraduate Economics majors

Howard-Karsten Endowed Scholarship for Undergraduates

The recipient of this scholarship should be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States.  The recipient should have a GPA of no less than 3.5 and be a senior by the start of the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded.  The recipient of the Howard-Karsten Scholarship is nominated by the Department of Economics based on the above requirements. The award is for tuition and fees for 12 credit hours each semester for two semesters. This scholarship is announced in March for the following academic year.

Jewell J. and LaRue J. Rasmussen Outstanding Junior Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship should have a GPA of no less than a 3.5 and should be a senior by the start of the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded.  The award is for in-state tuition and fees for 12 credit hours each semester for two semesters. The recipient is nominated by the Department of Economics based on the above requirements. This scholarship is announced in March for the following academic year.
